Maybe it’s just because I am always singing them, but I feel like educational songs have been popping up all over the place lately. Ryan J. can tell you every book of the bible, set to a delightful little tune (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers. These are the books of the bible four. Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges. [...]

A couple of weeks ago we had a training where Amisha and I handed out a bunch of old clothes, paper, art materials, etc. and gave the Explainers the assignment of creating camouflage videos around the Exploratorium. No the red wall! Use your eyes!
Oops, sorry about that. As a recent convert to the religion of rock climbing, I’m amazed at how addictive the seemingly simple act of getting to the top of a wall studded with grips and cracks can be. I keep thinking of seeing how the muscles worked in the [...]
Flavour Tripping

During meeting last Friday, Gabriel made us chew this herb that I cannot remember the name of. It binded to our sugar receptors and temporarily eliminated our abilities to taste sweetness. Consequently, when I ate a caramel corn-flavoured jelly bean, it tasted like I was chewing a chunk of [...]

Here’s an article that Charlie sent out a few days ago on museum news that relates to the Brain Dissection.
