I once did an orientation with the Angle of Repose (better known as that giant spinny disk with white and pink sand) before I even knew that exhibit had an actual name. So I asked the kids to name it, and one girl said, “It should be called

During an orientation, some days ago, I took a group of kids to the Vortex, and as always I asked them what it looked like. One kid gave the best description I’ve heard so far:
“It’s like a giant icicle that’s slowly moving.”
Now every time I walk by I think of the giant icicle.
